Living the Dream

We are always told to live our dreams, follow our passion and try to achieve what is most important to us. Dream can be anything that you wanna do achieve or live.

Did I try to live my dream? I never had passion for engineering and i did that because that was the hottest thing to do. I joined IT because everyone was joining. I left IT and joined finance for obvious reasons. Now i am joining a career in banking for no real passion. Have I been not living my dream?

Actually I have been living my dream completely for the past 7 years. Career and money were never the most important thing in my life. For the past 7 years i struggled for what was most important to me and closest to my heart, mind and soul. I overcame many many obstacles and every moment and in every thought tried to achieve it. Nothing seemed to stop me.

Living the dream does not necessarily means that you have to win or achieve it. I did not convert my dream into reality and looking ahead i do not think that it is going to happen. But I am happy that i tried to the fullest extent to fulfill what was most important to me. Tomorrow, I mite be sad for not achieving it but I will be happy for trying hard enough. It really takes a lot of patience and courage to pursue something for so long and stick to it every moment no matter what happens. There is a point of time when it is better off to forget your dream and move on to a new dream but then the journey so far was worth it.

Lesson : Pursue your dream or passion, the journey itself is worth the try.
